Abstract Submission
Abstract submissions are now closed.
Deadline for submission: 11:59pm 17th September 2026
Ivor Lewis Prize
Candidates are invited to submit abstracts on any clinical surgery topic, with a maximum length of 250 words. Selected abstracts will be shortlisted for oral presentation at the meeting taking place on 19th & 20th November 2026. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.
Eligibility: Submitted abstracts must have a Welsh consultant sponsor to be eligible for submission.
Open to: Registrars (or SAS equivalents) and Clinical Research Fellows
Prize: £100

Richard Johnson Prize
Candidates are invited to submit abstracts on any clinical surgery topic, with a maximum length of 250 words. Selected abstracts will be shortlisted for oral presentation at the meeting taking place on 19th & 20th November 2026. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.
Eligibility: Submitted abstracts must have a Welsh consultant sponsor to be eligible for submission.
Open to: Core trainees (or SAS equivalents), foundation doctors and medical students
Prize: £100
